"Don't judge a book by its cover. From the outside, it needs some upgrading. The inside, while no frills, is exceptionally clean, and the beds are big and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. Easy drive to beautiful downtown Carlisle. For a night or two, a great value. Will definitively stay there again the next time through. "

"I liked the place for it's location, comfortable rooms, cleanliness. Mostly the people working there. All were friendly and they made our stay perfect. Only thing that wasn't perfect was the elevator not working. Although I made reservations 5 months ago, I had to use a room on the second floor. My friend that traveled witb me is 83 with health issues had to use the stairs. The elevator apparently has been broken a long time. It was broke when I stayed there 6 months ago. ...next time I come I...

"We frequently stay at B&Bs and this property outshone all the others. The bathrooms were all modern and very clean, comfy bed, great lighting in the rooms. The breakfast might have been the best part, however, and every day was delicious, filling, and pretty presentation. The inn provides lots of water and soft drink choices, as well as coffees and teas (all self-serve). Fresh-baked cookies every night, and self-serve wine, too! Dawn and Bruce are the consummate hosts and know more about...
