"First room that was assigned had another person's suitcase in it. Next room, TV unplugged, tear in top sheet, no cleaning service 1st night, no kleenex in the room, towels looked dirty, woke up to ants all over bedside table, portable heater, lightbulb missing in bathroom, shower went cold all of a sudden, then back to warm, and the bare floors were gritty. Yes, it is a very old hotel, but the website photos are very misleading. "

"This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. "Room was very quiet and comfortable. Pool area and hot tub area very relaxing like a little oasis. Getting to the hotel a little drive off of main CA 108 . Definitely a mountain hideaway hidden down winding roads. We arrived a little later than we wanted and had to scramble back to Sonora to get food cause most things closed at 8 pm. Definitely a neat little place but eat before you get there or get there early"
