"The room was already nice and cold when we arrived on a very hot summer day. The staff were incredibly attentive and pleasant. We also enjoyed the pool, and the breakfast. The price is right and location is pretty convenient. I saw other reviews complaining about the wild chickens that roam around but we thought they were awesome and fun to watch. Team chicken for sure 🤘"

"We've been to Auburn multiple times but this was our first time staying at Foothills and it will now be our new spot to stay. The price is affordable and the location is great. We arrived Friday night and got checked in by Glenn who was super friendly and super helpful. He gave us history of the motel and let us know about all the amenities offered such as pool, ice machine, lounge chairs by the firepit and also informed us we can go to the bowling alley where they have food and a bar. "1, NO door on the bathroom. Only hotel/motel I visited in 50 years with no bathroom door. 2, Hallway carpeting had several spots/stains on it."

"Room was clean, staff did a great job of keeping it clean. Staff were nice and helpful. A/c was incredible despite the 111F heat outside. It kept our room very comfortable after going to the nearby parks with the kids. Their pool is open till 11pm which was awesome for the kids. Only thing I can say something a lil negative about is the lack of grip on the tiles around the indoor pool. You gotta be careful or you'll slip and slide. Overall, it was a great stay."
