The rooms were one of the more spacious we stayed in with plenty of amenities. It was clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Wish I had discovered this was a chain when we were booking our trip to Japan and we would have stayed in their other hotels arouns the country"

"The location was excellent for our purposes since we like to walk, we’re not with a group and the sites we were interested in seeing were close by The staff was helpful and we were pleased that the concierge was able to cancel a trip to the island because of the heavy rain. The views from our window were lovely overlooking the mountains and even the castle nearby. However , the room itself lacked the charm of other Japanese hotels we had stayed in. Also , for a hotel this size we expected that there would be a coffee shop or area where we could have a light breakfast and not only have a buffet breakfast available. We ended up walking in heavy rain to finally find a charming restaurant for a light breakfast"

"Breakfast was buffet with Japanese, (Japanized) Chinese and Western cuisine. Satisfied: Fried Oyster was good. And overall combination. Disappointed: We wanted to make toast but there were strawberry jam, orange jam and margarine but no butter. When we baked croissant in heater, the space between ceiling and croissant was too short, which burnt the top of croissant. "
