"I love hotel j-mex. The worst part is to get down the stairs to the property if you have big luggage etc. everything else is perfect. This is a love hotel so you will see people using it for that purpose, and cigarette smell if that bothers you. If not, J-Mex is always my go to when I stay in Japan. The room is huge. Being said that the Hotel room was very clean and many amenities in the room. Steam room and jacuzzi tub was awesome. Karaoke and sound system was great. Staff were very responsive.

"Had a literally delightful stay in Tokyo for 2 weeks and this hotel was perfect for access to the whole of Tokyo and other transit routes as it's on the doorstep of Shinjuku Station.
Breakfast buffet is great, the room was spacious, staff fantastic, helpful and friendly.
Only criticism, would be nice to have more laundry facilities as they can be busy. But this is minor and can't really knock stars off for this.

Rooms are smaller than your business hotels but held to the same standards of cleanliness and comfort with an accommodating front desk staff fluent in English and Japanese.
