"I stayed in a cottage in Shambala Estate on a relaxed drive up to Cairns from Melbourne with my two dogs. It was simply beautiful. When I opened the door it smelt great, there was soft music playing and it looked gorgeous. My stay was relaxed and comfortable in a beautiful and clean room. I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend."

"A perfect escape into nature! Wild Lime Cottage is an absolute gem — peaceful, private, and surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. The cottage is spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with all the comforts you need for a relaxing getaway. We loved sitting outside in the evenings listening to the sounds of nature and watching the stars at night. Nathan and family were lovely hosts, and we felt so welcomed. "Amazing position with stunning views on the same complex as St Bernards Hotel. 3 equal King bed Bedrooms with ensuite, beds and linens 1st Class quality but we were surprised by how thick ALL the pillows were. It's a new build well-appointed and is furnished well but could be so much more homely with at least a couple of lounge cushions and throws a rug or 2 and bedside lamps, sadly it lacked " soul ", but these minor details would prevent us staying again as 3 couples. "No real views of the vineyard as such. Winery was closed the entirety of our 5 day stay which was 29 dec to 3rd jan so couldnt do a wine tasting - we were not advised that they would be shut the entire time. House was not bad. Beds were comfy and the rooms are big. Wasnt the cleanest though and there were quite a few cockroaches. No gas for the bbq outside and had to be reimbursed for supplying it ourselves.
