"My husband said the skeeters (mosquitos) were so large and so many, they could have carried me away. Luckily, the property provided a electric bug zapper and he spent hours enjoying killing the little boogers. They were a major problem, we thought he killed them all and we woke up with mosquito bites and they were buzzing around again the next morning. Kinda a buzz kill….the cabin was fine, but the bugs were bad."

"Carol has an amazing place by the lake which is cozy and homely. Very friendly, accommodating and goes above and beyond to help. The breakfast was great. The other guests were amazing and friendly. Some of the best conversations :) Sadly we were there only for 1 night. We are definitely going to visit again, when in Alaska"

"Best Western Lake Lucille is a very lovely property. The staff were all very friendly with dining tips, activity ideas and snacks. The hot breakfast was great and sent us off for the day with treats for snacking. Our lake view room was standard in size but had a beautiful view of the lake and freshly manicured property. The Chop House was a little pricey but the appetizers and pub grub were tasty and filling. The restaurant was closed on our second day (Tuesday) which was a little disappointing. Overall loved it!"

"I think the property was friendly to pets. It had a lot of room in the front & back yard, along with a lot of space in the living room & kitchen. The bed is big, so your pet could definitely sleep with you on it or they could go into the guest bedroom too. There is a massage chair that was definitely relaxing & the place was clean"
