"Good breakfast bar overpriced and lack of towels in room. "

"We arrived on a late Saturday evening flight, ready to go to sleep. The plug on the wash hand basin did not work so the basin would not drain. Staff were very concerned and apologetic, but could not call a maintenance person until Monday morning (we were only staying 1 night) and couldn’t offer a change of room as the hotel was fully booked. A very disappointing experience and the weekend price was poor value for money. I expect better from HIE."

"Room was clean and large! “Small” breakfast started at 3 am for those with an early flight and it was anything but small! Staff was very friendly and helpful and it’s only a 5-10 minute walk to the airport!"

"The hotel was incredible. The food and drinks weren’t just the best we had while in the UK, but some of the best we’ve ever had worldwide. The consistency of all the drinks and meals was out of this world! Highly highly recommend. "

Un endroit convivial, le personnel absolument adorable, chambre propre et confortable. Thé et café mis à disposition gratuitement. L'ambiance était si bonne que nous avons simplement déposer nos affaires dans la chambre et passé du temps en bas avec les autres voyageurs. Nous vous recommandons et nous reviendrons sans hésiter . "Where do we begin? We arrived at the hotel, and the staff was courteous and very accommodating. Lunch and dinner at the hotel was exquisite, the room was clean and immaculately appointed, and our night’s sleep was peaceful. "Beautiful gardens surround what clearly was a stunning manor house in its day. Met at reception by a cheerful helpful lass who soon had us booked in. Room was very dated and tired and desperately needed a full refresh. A questionable mark on the bed valance caused concern. "Easy check in with large spacious car park at rear. Very comfy bed and good quality linen. Only 1 chair in room when there was room for a 2nd - I hate having to sit on a bed in a hotel room. Nice clean bathroom, with big fluffy towels. Luggage rack and large wardrobe space. Iron and ironing board, plus hairdryer. No usb sockets, but plenty of 3-pin sockets.
