"Our room was very clean and very nice with a great layout. The beach was beautiful, but unfortunately we booked late, so beach views weren't available. We faced the front of the hotel which was a poor view. The complimentary breakfast was not good and unavailable or late opening 2 of the 7 days we were there. I requested a discount due to this and they did give me one. There were resort fees added on that was not disclosed by Expedia and not in our initial total. They removed the beach chairs/umbrellas at 5:00 every day and the guy would actually start removing them as early as 4 if chairs were empty, so you felt pressured to leave, so forget trying to watch the sunset unless you sit on a towel on the sand. The location on Siesta Key was very good. It took us about 8 minutes to get to the village. Another downfall is that there are no good walking areas unless you walk on the beach. The pool was small for a resort and seemed cloudy/not that clean."
