"There were no amenities other than 1 makeup remover package, no shower caps, qtips packages. Very minimal and we paid for a suite, not just a regular room. Rm 223 tub needs a handicap grab bar on back wall. Breakfast was ok. Nothing special. Location was very good for our trip and near the highway. Free WiFi and free parking are excellent."

"Great stay we had to book last minute. The gentleman at the desk (pony tail and glasses) was so helpful and the positivity I needed after our horrible check in at holiday inn express (we cancelled and stayed at Tru instead). The room was great. Only complaint is I do not think it was vacuumed well. Crumbs in the floor. Looked like someone enjoyed ritz crackers. The 3rd floor also smelled of mildew in the hallway (not the room). Overall great stay! Would recommend!"

"Very pleased with our stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything worked as it should. No funny smells. The breakfast was better than most and was well stocked. The dining area was clean and well maintained. The property, overall, was very attractive and seemed to be well maintained."

"We were not informed the room (Bakersfield, CA) was located in the annex, which was located next to an entrance/exit door causing the room to be extremely warm despite the air conditioner."

"We reserved a room with 2 beds but that was not available so we were given a very nice, clean room with a sofa bed, however there were no linens/pillows for that bed.. called front desk to request linens and was told there were none. We managed by taking the bedding from the 1 bed to use for the sofa. A cover and pillows howeverthere was no sheet."

"Pros: Reasonable rates and a convenient location with a short drive to plenty of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The convention center is right next door, making it a great option for events. The room was a decent size and appeared clean on the surface. Cons: The biggest downside was the carpet, which had a very strong smoke and mildew odor that made the room unpleasant. "The hotel has went down hill. We have stayed multiple times before this time was different. The hotel smells real bad, like animals and stale water. I asked for a new room from the first one because it was adjoining and I requested no adjoining and the smell was awful. Second room the smell was no better. The smoke alarm was hanging off the wall and the latch lock was broken. I tried telling them at checkout but of course there was a language barrier and I don’t believe she understood the...

"The elevators to the rooms are oddly distant from the lobby. Our room was clean, but was missing some basic supplies such as tissue and coffee for the Keurig machine. Overall, it served its purpose for us (a quite overnight sleep) but was not overly impressive."
