"Stayed for 5 nights. The air filter was absolutely polluted with dust, it looked like it hasn’t been changed in a year. Our son got an allergic reaction to the dust and had to take him to the ER during our stay. One of the beds did not have a comforter which we reported upon arrival. We were told for 3 straight days that it would be delivered and was not. It was finally delivered as we were checking out. I am a work traveler and have seen it all but the service and cleanliness were way below...

"Check-in was confusing and poorly organized, which made the start of the stay frustrating. The room itself was fine and comfortable, but the photos on the website were misleading and didn’t match what we saw in person. Overall, an okay room but not the experience we expected."

"After flying in with four of us from Los Angeles on a Red Eye, we had to drive around for 4-5 hours until we were able to check in at 4pm, however after hours of trying to get into the property with no answer on the contact number ,we finally were able to have the local property manager come out and say that the property overbooked and had no room for us. I spent over 2 hours on the phone getting the run around by Expedia with mixed stories of our accommodations. FINALLY with now the story is...

"Property was missing needed items and it took two days to get them(coffee maker). For the price you get what you’d expect. Older property with some updates needed. Everything worked but older appliances. "

"The property was double booked and they took my money and the code was never received therefore I could not check in to the property. I’m still waiting on a refund of $416.02 . The property should not be listed if people are occupying it. I was distraught when I found out this on my birthday weekend scrambling to find a place to go at almost midnight. This person should be banned from renting out this property so that it doesn’t happen again!"

"For the most part the room seemed ok. But the deodorizer used and overused inside the mini fridge made us ill. This chemical permeated our food and water containers and we were sick for a full day afterwards. (Our waterbottles, not disposable types, still reek 2 days later after scrubbing thrm with alcohol. We will need to know what that chemical was due to the sensitivity we experienced. Overuse of scented chemicals does not confer cleanliness. Parking was fine and ac unit worked very...

"Our stay at the Stamford La Quinta was very interesting. I think the hotel has a lot of potential and a decent location but unfortunately the hotel is maintained somewhat poorly. Broken elevators, cracks in sinks, minor cleanliness issues, broken and/or outdated furniture/appliances. But overall, still a clean room and hallways. I have mixed feelings about our stay because while you can tell they do try to clean.... I just don't understand why such simple things are being left broken/unfixed....

"First of all the ad is deceiving that there is a fitness gym and pool when in fact these are not opened and in active working condition. Second, when I got to my room there were just lot of missing things and items such as chair for the table, ironing board, ice bucket, microwave. And the following day when I came back from work, my contact lens case is missing. I reported it to the front desk staff immediately and the following day they said that the housekeeper didn’t see any contact lense...
