Room was as expected, bed was comfortable as you would expect from a 5-star hotel. Bathroom was large as well and had the hotel branded goods. For the breakfast area, there was an option to sit outside, which was pleasant. Plenty of options as well and the staff where ready at hand to address any requests. This is one of the most stylish and unusual hotels in which I have ever had the pleasure of staying. I believe the building was constructed around 1900 but only became a hotel around 15 years ago. It is furnished in the spirit of art nouveau with spacious and comfortable public areas and beautifully appointed bedrooms. This hotel is very clean and comfortable. Sheets and towels are changed daily.There is free wifi and a good range of TV channels. We stayed here at the end of our Sicilian trip and used it as a base for both the north and south approach to Etna. It was just the bit of luxury we needed. The hotel really is perched on the edge of the cliff with moth a large pool (looking out to sea) and steps in to the sea complete with sea front solarium. Fantastic spot right in the centre of historic Catania. The staff were super helpful, waiting for us even though our flight was delayed on a Sunday night. The room was delightful with views of the cathedral and tucked right behind the theatre. Lovely breakfast spread which we ate on the delightful terrace. Couldn't recommend enough. Comfortable bed and A/C to boot!

We stayed here for two nights and it was great. It was just 10-15 minutes walk to the main squares and shopping areas. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definately stay here again.
