"Amazing place."

"Amazing place to stay with amazing hosts. Close enough to walk to the CBD if you are prepared and brave enough to conquer/tackle the uphill on the way back. For me it was perfect preparation to running the Knysna Forest Marathon. The room has everything one requires and more: WiFi, hairdryer, fridge, kettle, heater, shower and small touches such as OBS and snacks on arrival as well as a torch in case of a power failure or emergency. "Nice view"

"Good kitchen, magical location, fantastic views, wonderful living area and balcony. Bar and restaurant also awesome and convenient. "

"Been to Knysna now on many times, stayed in various types of accommodation within the town, very impressed with this hotel, ideal for walking around town, the marina and it's location is great, ideal for walking to many of the towns restaurants' and bars. Would certainly recommend this hotel. Staff were really helpful, breakfast was fine although there are many cafe's around the hotel should one want any alternative breakfast, although what we had was fine."

"Lovely hotel and great location. Breakfast is great too!! I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Beautifully appointed and magnificent views of an (almost) private beach. It’s a magical location. Be aware that access isn’t easy and it’s completely self catering, including breakfast. "

"This home was amazing! Nelson Mandela once stayed there as the photographs prove. Staff members were lovely and Nico helped guide us through everything we needed to know about the area. Bravo!"

"This hotel was incredible. The location is excellent, the hotel itself is quite interesting and there are many places to explore, the food and drink were excellent - as were the staff who provided them, the room was remarkable. This is a must-stay hotel if you are considering staying in the area. I would return in a heartbeat if travels bring me there - and I would bring as many as I could."

"Fabulously friendly and helpful hosts. The room was comfortable and clean and the bed was very comfy too. A lovely balcony to sit at in the evening afforded us a great view out to the sea. Breakfast was well executed and staff were all friendly. The property is well located - just a short drive into town. I would definitely stay here again if I wax to return to Knysna. "

"A beautiful spot, with amazing views. The staff were excellent and it was very close to everything you need."
