"If you’re looking for a place to stay in Sintra, do yourself a favor and start here. Yes, it’s a little more expensive than some of the other options, but it’s absolutely worth every euro.
The rooms are beautiful, spotless, and very well maintained. One of my favorite surprises was the complimentary minibar, which was fully stocked and a really nice touch after a long day of exploring.
If you’re visiting during the summer, you’ll definitely appreciate the air conditioning. Sintra has cool, refreshing mornings and evenings, but the afternoons can still get quite warm, so coming back to a cool room was perfect.
The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the historic center, making it easy to explore the palaces, restaurants, and shops without needing transportation.
One thing to know if it’s your first time in Sintra: don’t expect a bustling nightlife. After around 9 PM, the town becomes very quiet. Most people actually live outside of Sintra and commute in for work, so the evenings have a peaceful, almost magical atmosphere. Personally, I loved it—it made the town feel even more charming.
Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations and was one of the highlights of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time I’m in Sintra."
