"The owner was very helpful, I asked for a kettle and there was one waiting when we got there. She checked everything was ok , after we had done self checkin and check out. The location is a further out than we expected, we knew it wasn’t near the lake, but there was nothing near by , you definitely need a car … Fridge in room , and a microwave in the hall for everyone to use . It’s above a pizza restaurant , so you can eat there some nights ( wasn’t open Tuesday) but it was over the weekend....

Hotel Flaminia

Sirmione Old Town

10/10 Excellent

I chose this hotel as it is a smaller independent hotel with good reviews, it did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was clean, comfortable and in a perfect location next to the lake. Breakfast was good quality food with a good selection and the views are to die for. Sirmione is a beautiful village in a lovely area, some other picture perfect places were Garda, Malcesine and Limone. It was easy to travel round by hire car and by ferry. I recommend a visit to...

Villa Cordevigo

Cavaion Veronese

10/10 Excellent

I surprised my boyfriend with this hotel for his 30th. The images looked amazing on the website, and when we arrived we were totally over the moon. The hotel was something else, 5* service, Michelin restauraunt, beautiful decor, very scenic and peaceful location, it was a true romantic getaway, tucked away in the vineyards. We booked an elegance room which has a hot tub, but our hot tub didn't work, so they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. The staff were a delight and happy to help and take...

Hotel Namia by Dori

Old Town Bardolino

10/10 Excellent

Just returned from a weeks stay at the Namia by Dori Hotel, Bardalino. The hotel is in a perfect location opposite a local park, very quiet and peaceful yet only a couple of minutes walk to the lakeside, with plenty of restaurants etc to choose from on the way. The hotel was excellent with spacious bedroom and small sitting room complete with large tv in both. The room had tea and coffee making facilites with small fridge and secure safe. The reception staff were very pleasant, friendly,...

Lefay Resort & SPA Lago di Garda

Gargnano

10/10 Excellent

The view from room 602 (Mini-Suite) was jaw dropping and enhanced by the cloudless blue sky, mill pond view of the lake and a backdrop of the mountains with snow caps. Hotel staff were exceptional in their attention to detail from the staff at reception and throughout the facility to the unsung heroes who ensured our stay was without any low points. Beautiful room which was of an exeptional standard which wanted for nothing. The availability of a car to take you down to the lake and...

Hotel Nazionale

Desenzano del Garda

10/10 Excellent

Although not on the lake front the hotel is very close to the town (less than 5 minutes walk). From the imbarcadero most of the rest of the lake can be reached (managed to get to Riva del Garda, Limone sul Garda, Salo and Sirmione during my stay). The train station is also close make trips to other towns such as Verona and Mantua very accessible. The hotel is very comfortable with a good breakfast buffet. One nice feature (at least in my room) was a usual three pronged plug socket which...

This is our 2nd visit to Residence Ca’ Del Lago. We had a wonderful holiday and will stay there again. The hotel is looking down on Torri Del Benaco so giving us a lovely view of the town, Lake Garda and the castle & Harbour not to forget a view of the beautiful sunset every evening. The property has friendly and helpful staff who are multi lingual so there is never a problem with a language barrier.
