"Upon arrival we had a few issues with the property, but the owner sorted these for us straight away. The villa was amazing! Clean and bright with great outdoor space. The pool was perfect, as was the view. 'Martin' the visiting cat was a welcome guest! Highly recommend this place for a stay!"

"The little village of Agyroupolis where Arcus is located is very quiet and charming. It got a great local feel of Greek countryside and many friendly locals, well used to tourists dropping by, to see the historical places they offer. Arcus I located a couple of minutes from the main square, easy to get to by car or feet. It’s a bunch of old houses, surrounded by a very green and exotic inner garden with a little pool. "This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again."

"The only thing that let the property down was the lighting in the bathroom was very low and the shower was cramped with the roof beam running through it so i kept hitting my head other than that excellent and the staff were great."

"We were the first booking for the season, so felt like we had a the whole place to ourselves. The property, and our villa, were incredible and the views out to the ocean were amazing. Loved our villa and was perfect size for our family. Appreciated the fresh fruit. Our host was there to greet us and communication throughout our entire stay was excellent. The property is beautiful, and it felt so relaxing to enjoy the sun in the Cretan hillside. Only wished we stayed longer!"

"DO NOT BOOK THIS LOCATION...EVER!!! The owner double booked his house in August 2025 and when we arrived to check in, another family was there. He didn't care that he double booked it and we had to find another place to stay at 10 pm at night in a country we don't live in. He didn't care and now will not even refund us for the payment when we didn't even stay there. Absolutely unacceptable for a family of four to be displaced because of his negligence. And we're equally disappointed in Expedia...

"Amazing resort and beach. Food was epic and the service around the pool really great. Just make sure to download the group app and book your restaurants as soon as you are confirmed. Got upgraded to a swim up room too so that was pretty special. "

"Overall amazing experience. Very clean, food was varied and tasty. Only downside is the beach was close, but there is no sunbeds for free. You need to pay to rent the sunbeds, as they are owned by another hotel. Service in the hotel was very good and prompt, they were very helpful throughout our stay. Definetely worth it if you just want a couple days of relax and enjoying inside. "

"We have had a great time at this hotel. Plenty of great dining options, multiple swimming pools, sea access was great. Perhaps the biggest highlight was the staff, they were lovely and super helpful any time we needed anything. The only slight negative we found was the lack of lactose-free yoghurt, which was surprising given the multitude of options otherwise. It would have been nice to be able to try the yoghurt, but sadly this made it impossible for us."
