"I did hear bad reviews before booking. However I always make my own mind up as we are all different with different expectations. The hotel is beautiful and areas are outstanding. I couldn’t fault it and already booked for December."

"We checked in on the 21/7/26 at 17:00 for an over night stay on my daughter’s birthday,we also had my granddaughter age 10 with us. The man behind reception was rude and dismissive he hurriedly pushed a piece of paper towards me barking write yourhome address and sign. He pushed a door key card at me and snapped third floor. I didn’t catch the room number he said so I asked again which room number please? he wrote 317. We called for the lift when it came it smelled awful and there were buttons...

"A really dated hotel. Pillows rock hard, very hot room and a pathetic shower. Parking wasn’t easy as I would not want to park around the back of the hotel as it didn’t feel safe. Never again. Having said that it was only £54 per night so could expect too much more I guess."

"I paid £40 for a double room for the night which I thought was a great deal. The room was clean and check in and out was easy and quick. I didn’t have breakfast and there was lots of on-site parking. The place is a bit dated but for the price I paid, I was very happy."

"The room was basically a closet, actually didn’t even have a room number.. The room was Identified by M5…. Stayed 5 days, no one ever came to even make the bed.. Room had no windows, dark and really unacceptable for even half the price.. I stay in hotels around 100 nights per year, this is the worst I’ve seen in over 30 years, including China, India and many other places"
