"We have stayed at the Stratford many times before and always enjoy it. The staff is friendly and the rooms are always clean. Every time I come, new touches have been added to make the place nicer in the public areas. We always like the pool. Breakfast is limited but they have some good oatmeal. Beds vary in comfort based on my experience. The cardboard cutouts were a fun touch this year."

"I was charged $86 for incidentals after check out, though it should have been $30; no email was sent to explain. OTOH, the breakfast buffet is good and the grounds are lovely. (Be aware that, as to be expected at a hot springs, the water smells and tastes funky.)"

"The owners are new. It looks like they are trying to improve an aging property. The bathtub surface was damaged and the shower plumbing not great. Bed is comfortable. Ancient air conditioning unit worked OK. Room needs updating."

"We stayed in the upper appartment. The place is beautiful, comfortable, quite, and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The balcony overlooks a beautiful garden patio. The location is a short walking distance to Ashlands' center with its theaters, coffee shops and restaurants. Steve, our host, was welcoming, bery communicative and accessible. Our stay was perfect."

"The bid was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. I slept well. The breakfast was good. Fresh scrambled eggs and bacon. Needed potatoes to be perfect. I loved the orange juice too. No bagels and cream cheese which I only have when at a hotel that serves it.LOL"
