"Great place if you want to unwind from a day out in Sparta. Great location and just a couple minutes drive Mystras where there’s some wonderful restaurants. The room has some great amenities and is very modern. Enjoyed are stay there. "

"The room was gorgeous with stunning views of pool area (closed in winter so no noise) and snowy mountains. The entire property is beautiful and well maintained and I felt the staff genuinely cared whether I enjoyed my stay rather than just going through the motions or simply doing their job. "We stumbled across this retreat almost by accident and it was the highlight of our trip to Greece. We’ve traveled the entire country and seen the most amazing places but the Ambelona Retreat is in its a class of its own.
From the amazing service from our host George, to the phenomenal views and architecture, this place can only be described as magical.

"I had the pleasure of staying in this superb guesthouse. Location was fantastic Yakinthi and Sofiris are fantastic hosts. The room was spotless the beds where so comfortable had a great shower and the towels where super soft. Fridge was stocked with family recipe jams and marmalades with plenty of bottled water with bread and a lovely note in a welcome basket. I will not stay anywhere else when i go back to Tripoli and cant recommend the guesthouse high enough. And the meal in the Restaurant...
