"We got there way later than the office hours and were given very easy instructions on where to find our keys to the room and car parking. The moment we arrived we were met with a staff member that was friendly and helped us check in even after the office was closed. They even gave us a map and showed us where the room was. The pools and rooms are clean and the AC worked perfectly. Only thing is we found 2 bed bugs on the bed the next morning but the hotel is so nice I brushed it off. Either way we would definitely stay here again."

"There is absolutely nothing at The Julian Gold Rush Hotel that I could say I disliked. It was perfect to every detail. I’ve stayed exactly 3 separate times in different rooms. My next visit to Julian I hope to book the Cottage Patio at the Gold Rush Hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Very clean and tidy rooms. The decor is stepping back in time of the latter 1800’s. A must see and experience the shops on Main St. I highly recommend visiting or staying in Julian!"

"This was a hidden place definitely off the beaten track. We felt relaxed finally finding the place and even got an upgrade for the Lake View. Was able to utilize the meditation room, game room/pool table/library. Our room had a special tub with jets and a steam shower. This was in the calm room. Very satisfied!"
