The wife had an injury and wasn't able to navigate stairs all that well, the front desk was understanding and were kind enough to move our room to the main floor, requiring no stairs, while the elevator was being worked on. "My friends and I had a great time at The Greenbrier Inn while we were on a weekend trip skiing. I was able to book my room quickly and they had availability even the week before at exceptional pricing. Steve was very accommodating even when we got to the inn late Friday night. We called prior our arrival to make sure we could get our keys as the front desk does have its hours and were told specific instructions to obtain our keys. "We found our check-in to be accomodating especially since I have mobility issues. Our room was to be on the second floor and we were provided with a first floor upgrade at a nominal fee. It was quiet with a comfortable bed . We did find that our operation of the television was quite difficult. We feel there should have been more explanation on its control. "We had one of the apartments out back and it was really nice. The staff was very responsive and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was very good and the waiter, Brian I think, was a very nice deadpan comedian. We enjoyed the hot tub too! The only thing we didn't appreciate was that it took about 10 minutes of running the water to get hot water for the sinks and showers. Not really a problem to wait, but it seems a waste of water."

The food menu choices are limited. Breakfast buffet for $20 is the only choice and food was not good both days we ate there. Lunch was Ok. Suggest adding specials to menus."
