"We had a lovely stay at Old Town Hostel Kranj. It’s a beautifully designed hostel, with each room thoughtfully giving a nod to the local region. Our room was spotlessly clean, modern, bright and had everything we needed. The bathroom was excellent, with a fantastic powerful shower. Communication with the owner was brilliant. We arrived with our three teenagers after a long journey, and as our room was ready, they kindly let us check in early, which we really appreciated. The whole team were...

"As long as you go into your stay with “hostel” expectations, you’ll likely be pleasantly surprised. The walls are thin, the place is busy and can be a little noisy, but with some earplugs and a bit of patience, it makes a great home base for exploring Bohinj. The location is somewhat removed from the main tourist areas, but they’re still easily walkable. Even better, recreational rentals of all kinds are available right on site, making it incredibly easy to get out and actually experience...
