"Stayed for couple of nights in rm 19 which was modernised and had a Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom which made my day. "The property was nice overall, pretty much a place to sleep, while you visit around the area. The staff was superb and super helpful, in every way possible. The negatives are that the TV would lose signal, hence no way of connecting to local and/or online. The hotel could use a bit of updating, but overall there is nothing really wrong with it. No complaints on the food or bar."

Very usefully , half portions offered on some meals if you don’t want a huge helping. Perfectly fine for me just passing through."

"The friendliness of the staff is top-notch and everywhere is so clean. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because there was a lack of vegan awareness. Although my meal on the first night was tasty it didn't include any protein. There were no vegan wines available but they kindly let me bring some vegan wine I had in the car in to have with my meal. "Nice place to stay, train station is a 5 minute walk. Food options and friendly people. Coming from the airport… do NOT take a taxi. 757 bus to Paisley, then train to Greenock central. A LOT cheaper than taxi."
