"Second time staying here in the downtown of Gonzales. It is a great location. Clean hotel with minimal amenities, but we were hardly in the room. The movie theater is across the square along with Come and Take it bar and grill across the street. The food there is great. Not sure when it was converted into a hotel, but we love it. Also, visit The Nighowl craft beer bar right around the corner. All of this plays into a great small charm feeling. Then there is Ottine Springs about 20 minutes away from Gonzales square."

"Our stay was wonderful, and we had a very positive experience throughout our extended visit. We especially appreciated the daily breakfast, and our room was spacious and comfortable for our family. During our stay, I needed to attend several important work conference calls. Since I couldn't take them in our room with our young family, the staff graciously provided a private space for me to work. Their willingness to go above and beyond to accommodate us made a lasting impression, and I truly appreciated their kindness and flexibility. We also really enjoyed the pool, which was a great amenity for our family. Overall, we had an excellent stay and would definitely choose to stay here again the next time we visit Gonzales."
