"Cute boutique resort. We stayed in room 10, and while it was nice, it felt like we were in a muggy, damp basement. Light by the stairs shined through the blinds and could hear people go up and down the stairs. Friends stayed in a suite on the upper floor and didn’t have the same issue, id go back but stay in different unit."

The suites are large and comfortably furnished, and the beds are too. The Lodge is very quiet and peaceful, and located very conveniently, walking distance to downtown and the Cowichan River ,and very near to the Highway 18 , to access driving Youbou or to Duncan and other...

"The only downfalls were that we had to pay extra for an early check-in and when we called the front desk in the night no one amswered the phone."

"The pool was full of standing water with plastic over it and overgrown around it. It was a funky place but clean and everything worked. The bed was lovely. The decor was thoughtful. I liked the couple and their child. It was a nice image."

"This motel was very low end not worth the money we paid. Buyer beware. The motel is old and run down. It had a homeless camp feel to it. It came with good reviews that is why we chose it but now that I stayed there a weekend it was a huge mistake. Did not feel safe staying there."
