"This was our 2nd Fosshotel during the Ring Road, and we enjoyed this one way more. It's cozy inviting vs the last one that felt like it was trying to be a fancy hotel. "Come here for the stunning location but do not expect much from the hotel. It’s like sleeping on a hard grey rock - with minimal comforts or care. We were a family of four, no shampoo, one thin pillow, slightly dusty and not even a decent cup of coffee. The room is unadorned and sterile.

"Nice, centrally located guesthouse with an excellent shared kitchen. The rooms were a reasonable size, and we really enjoyed our stay.
The only issue we had, which other guests arriving at the same time also experienced, was gaining access to the property and our room. Access is managed through a website using a code sent by email.
