"Arrived and was told there were no rooms available in the hotel after booking weeks before. Desk said to contact booking company to get refund. Did that and then hotel wouldn’t pick up phone on multiple occasions. I called the next day & was on hold for 20min with someone and was told the “refund was issued.” It was not. Now it’s been a week waiting for the booking company to be able to contact the hotel to get it straightened out and today I received a message that says, “ After multiple attempts to contact the property on your behalf, we were unable to obtain approval for a waiver. Based on this, the original policy will apply.
We understand that this isn’t the outcome you were hoping for, and we regret that we couldn’t make it work.”
Filing a credit card claim now. This is insane! I’ve spent hours on this situation and it’s wildly frustrating. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel and the site may not be used again either at this rate. It’s not worth it. "
