"The Ashville Guesthouse is a charming property just on the outskirts of Westport. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared with something for every taste. The full Irish breakfast was excellent. Hilary and Oliver are exceptional hosts and make their guests feel very comfortable. I highly recommend this B&B and will book again if my travels take me back to the area."

"The hotel reception area is lovely -mcshanes var & restaurant needs a complete overall as very dated and tables, chairs are wobbly and most chairs have split or damaged covering .
Service is very slow only staffed by young people who looked stressed at times - food was good when it arrived and plenty of it .
Rooms advertised as delux are basic - dirty carpets , old bed frames, pillows are very full but incredibly uncomfortable, woke up with stiff neck , asked for replacements ie soft fud not...
