"So if the staff are reading rhis, I wonder if a Platt or a longer Platt name has ever stayed there, other than me? I laughed with the staff about wanting to stay here because my last name is Platt..... (a few letters longer).
I had a magical stay. I enjoyed the rooftop. The service was prompt. The rooms were clean, the showers worked, i'm in downtown new york city, what else can you ask for? Next time I come to new york, I'm staying here especially now that I know the neighborhood better."

"Great location, near the subway, loads of food options and grocery stores nearby. The room wasn't really cleaned very well, including the shower. And the mattresses were just ok, not that comfortable. I've stayed at HI hostel previously and it's around the same price, I'd suggest HI hostel over nap York. HI had really comfortable beds, thoughtful design for the lockers, beds and charging points, and was cleaner."

The beds were ridiculously comfortable.
Hotel and rooms were very clean and staff were phenomenal!
First time at this hotel and would definitely come back.
Rooms are small, but for one or two people, it is manageable.
Very little outside noise and my room had a beautiful view.

"Stayed at the New Yorker Hotel and it was honestly not worth the price. The hallways are outdated and the “city view” room we were given was basically a corner wall with barely any view of MSG. You’re mainly paying for the location in the heart of NYC.
What really ruined the experience was how we were treated regarding their smoking policy. I asked a worker if there was any balcony or smoking area available and was told no, to just smoke outside. Cool, no problem.
The next morning at 9AM...

"The moment I walked in staff informed me that they never offered valet services, and two minutes later a valet showed up. Our room smelled like mold and the bathroom had a strong urine odor. Ohhh not to mention the clogged tub! We had a terrible experience at the Hyatt Hotel."
