"The owner was very helpful, I asked for a kettle and there was one waiting when we got there. She checked everything was ok , after we had done self checkin and check out. The location is a further out than we expected, we knew it wasn’t near the lake, but there was nothing near by , you definitely need a car … Fridge in room , and a microwave in the hall for everyone to use . It’s above a pizza restaurant , so you can eat there some nights ( wasn’t open Tuesday) but it was over the weekend....

This is a lovely hotel located on the edge of the lake. Ideal stay for a few days, slightly remote so would recommend a car if staying more than 2. Staff were excellent and one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a while! Spa is amazing and very relaxing - well worth booking a slot to use this We had an issue or two with our room, but was instantly resolved Would recommend. Pricing is aligned to level of service and stay.

Some aspects of the property are a little dated. Staff were very helpful and also happy. Breakfast was very good with lots of different choices. We used the spa which although small was very good. The restaurant was very good and my wife and I both rated our meals as 5 star. Moniga del Garda is quite small but is very relaxing. If you want a little more life and better options for boat trips etc then you should consider staying at Dezenso del Garda.

Really great feeling about hotel. Staff particularly helpful and friendly. Can you book me a taxi?. Can you find me a decent restaurant? Can I have extra towels?. Everything answered quickly and politely, some five star hotels would do well to be this polite. If you are used to five star hotels, this will not disappoint. Rooms very clean, good size, pool beds really excellent, food and drinks excellent and very reasonably priced.

Although not on the lake front the hotel is very close to the town (less than 5 minutes walk). From the imbarcadero most of the rest of the lake can be reached (managed to get to Riva del Garda, Limone sul Garda, Salo and Sirmione during my stay). I booked this as a luxury treat during a holiday with multiple stops and hotels, and it didn't disappoint. I booked a balcony lake view room, and was very pleased to get a room with a huge balcony area with sun loungers and a table and chairs looking towards Lake Garda. The room itself was spacious and well-equipped - the kettle was particularly appreciated! We didn't use the spa facilities, but it was a lovely hotel all round.
