I was very grateful that we were moved from the second floor to the first floor. I did not take that under consideration when booking, but my 83-year-old uncle went with us and I didn’t realize we were on the second floor.. The lady was very nice and moved us to a room on the first floor.. that was very considerate and nice of her.

My biggest problem with this room was the bed. It had springs that would make noise every time you move, and you could feel them. It was a very uncomfortable night. I think even a simple quilted mattress topper would help very much. Like many places in Soldotna, this is an older somewhat historic type place. It’s very well-maintained and the atmosphere is perfectly Alaskan like you would expect. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean.

This Inn is dated, the bed was difficult to sleep on. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. i personally had loud neighbors and smokers all night. I couldnt open my window due to the constant cigarette smoke being blown right into my room from my neighbor smokin outside his door. The sound of other travelers all night prohibited sleep. The door that leads to the outside.. did not have a deadbolt. It was a knob lock only. The room was very small for the cost associated. It did not feel secure or safe. the Food at the restaurant was great, the people were kind and professional at the Inn. I would not stay again nor would i bring my family.
