Pros: The owner was very nice in responding to texts about local food places and they were spot on. There was a cleaner who used to come daily to change towels and stuff. Con: It’s an old building, and it’s not the whole apartment you get. It’s just a room in the apartment that you get to rent. There are other rooms too in the same apartment that are rented to other people. The kitchen is not equipped even with basic amenities. Like no toaster, no salt & pepper & no pan or microwave to heat up food in case of bad weather. Not sure if they expected tourists to buy a pan for a few days of stay there. It was quite shocking to us. Our AC stopped working and we contacted the manager right away. Her reply was, it’s not that hot outside, and they can only do something in the morning. So we had to keep the patio door open for the whole night, which became noisy, being the property very close to main road. All in all, it was okayish experience for us, but we won’t stay here again.

We stayed in this accommodation for 2 nights and found both positive and negative aspects. The location is very convenient, close to Piazza Tasso and to all the bus stops that take you to Positano or Amalfi. Communication from the host was excellent. As soon as we arrived, they sent us a very comprehensive self check-in guide and they remained responsive throughout our stay. The accommodation itself is located within a very old complex, which is not what you would expect from the Expedia photos. The actual unit is renovated and does not look old, but to reach it you need to pass through the older complex, which is not the nicest feeling. The reviews were very positive about cleanliness, but we did not find the interior particularly clean. The bathroom and toilet had stains that suggested they had not been deep cleaned for a while and overall the place looked superficially cleaned rather than spotless. The AC was very weak and needed to be kept on for at least 24 hours continuously to reach a reasonable temperature. The bed was also uncomfortable. With a few improvements in cleanliness, comfort, and maintenance, this accommodation could be a much better experience given its excellent location and responsive host.

Modern, Great Location - Some issues

The apartment was great. The room was very clean and modern, and in a fantastic location near central Sorrento. Although the room was overall great unfortunately there were some issues that impacted our stay. The property entrance gate broke which meant we had to jump over the fence to get out. There were plumbing issues which meant that access to our room and toilet was required by a plumber on two days whilst we were out. Grate issue - The gate that allows entrance to the property broke on our third day. We had to jump over it to get out. We immediately told YourHome, but unfortunately found the issue hadn’t been resolved when we returned four hours later. We were due to check out the next day, and were advised the cleaner would let us out with out suitcase. The cleaner wasn’t there and we had no response from the property management. Thankfully another resident was able to let us out. Plumbing issues - On two days the owner required access to the toilet due to a plumping issue. On the second day we had to leave him and a plumber in the room, unlocked as we had a booking to make. Although we appreciate these things happen, it did feel a bit unsafe.

Great location, walkable to nearby restaurants and the main area in sorrento. Bus stops and train station close by as well. Our host was super responsive and helped us book an excursion.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Helped us via whatsapp right from the train station when our first train after arriving in Italy was late. The apartment feels highly secure and is in a great location near the city centre but a bit out of the hustle and bustle for nice quiet mornings. Great spot for a young couple travelling on a budget.

Gianluigi made it so easy. Made me feel welcome via WhatsApp and shared so many must-dos for the area. Also was convenient to communicate with regarding the unit Unit was clean and accommodating. Air conditioning. Bathroom was a good size. Shared with a common area but never stumbled across the neighbours. They were quiet when they came in late. Felt safe. Walking to the main strip was the best part. Location was perfect. Highly recommend

I usually don’t stay in the apartments and prefer hotels, so this was first. Let me tell you - it felt like being a true guest and being welcomed by a family. Marco was so helpful and friendly, the room was spanking clean, beautiful view from the balcony, beautiful area, very quiet yet easy access to everything you need. Sorrento felt like home to me for these few days I’ve stayed there and I cannot wait to be back. I’ve stayed in 7 hotels during this trip - this was the best accommodation hands down!❤️
