"Fairly large room but a little run down compared to the other Thon hotels I have stayed at. Soundproofing was also kind of poor as we could hear people talking as well as foot steps when people on the above floor were walking around the room. Staff was friendly and the breakfast spread lives up to Thon hotel standard (really good breakfast variety). Location is very convenient as you can walk to all the nearby grocery shops like Coop, Bunnpris and REMA1000."

"Heat in bathroom, no heat in room…no thermostat. Just one small, oldish pilllow. If you don’t have internet, you cannot scan the code on the door. Tough luck for you because you paid for the room but you can’t get in! Only good thing is the location."

"Uns wurde untersagt, die Parkplätze mit Ladesäulen am Hotel zu nutzen (obwohl sogar einer noch frei war). Begründung: diese werden durch “uns” benutzt, d.h. die Parkplätze werden wohl durch die Hotelangestellten benutzt. Die Dame an der Rezeption konnte uns dann nicht mal klar sagen, wo wir sonst noch Parken bzw Ladesäulen zu finden sind. Sehr schlechter Service. Familienzimmer war ok, Frühstücksbüffet auch."

"When Anders greeted us he was lovely and very helpful. We particularly loved the fresh pastries set out for the guests, as well as access to the hot chocolate/coffee/tea machine. And the most exciting amenity was the drying rack (heated cabinet) that really came in handy for our wet shoes. And can’t forget that the water pressure in the shower was wonderful, especially after long drives and hikes."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Just getting to the hotel (over a narrow mountain road) was an adventure in itself, but it was well worth it. The fisherman's cabin was cozy and comfortable, with all amenities included. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and there was a lovely little restaurant which served both traditional Norwegian dishes (such as fish and reindeer) but also some very good vegan dishes (which was quite an unexpected surprise). The view over the ocean was...
