"We arrived late and there was nobody to check us in. We tried calling the number on the gate, but this wasn't answered and afterward the phone was switched off. There is a lack of communication and the photo's on Expedia do not represent the poor state of the hotel. We will not book this again"

"Don't be put off by the 2☆ rating. This wee hotel is good. The staff are friendly, maid service prompt and efficient and location is excellent. Pretty much central in town and lot's of cafes and restaurant's on the doorstep. The rooms are clean and spacious, however a little outdated. I have stayed in 4☆'s that were worse though..The bed is comfortable. Negatives are over the weekend it gets noisy from midnight until around 3/4am due to proximity of late opening bars. Not a big issue though.....

"Everything was great very nice. Only issue was that we had no hot water to shower the morning we left, which ironically enough is exactly why we booked them because of a hot water issue at another facility. As we left they told us it was fixed and we could use it but we were already packed up and had plans/timetables for the day. Otherwise it was a great place to stay."

"Friendly and heloful welcome upon arrival. Clean and good size room with big bed. Blackout curtains, calm, yet in a very good location. As with bathroom, very small and unpractical bathtub. Small TV too far away from bedt to shower with no curtains. "

A perfect stay just 30 mins from Cherbourg. Don't miss the opportunity to take dinner at nearby Le Bistro D'henry. Their cuisine is outstanding! "
