"The location is beautiful and scenery but the cottage itself was too small to accomodate 4 of us. No proper beds just sofa beds which were really a hassle to open and rather uncomfortable. There is no private bathroom and the toilet and showers are locared separately outside the cottage. Making this very uncomfortable and awkward if one needs to use the bathroom late at night in the cold, rain and snow. We ended up leaving and didnt make our full stay 😪 "

It's been downsized and the entire surrounding area is changed - which made finding it in the rain at night quite tricky. Once you're in the hotel, it's lovely and well appointed. The breakfast is wonderful. Nice fan in the room to support ventilation."

"For the last 4 years I’ve been coming to Sweden Rock Festival and always stayed 5 nights at the Grand Hotel. Conveniently located, very close to the train / bus station. Close to the square behind, with hops and restaurants. Breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and the hotel is super quiet. Staff is very professional and helpful. I’ll surely come back again next year for the Festival, and I’ll definitely choose the Grand Hôtel again."
