"The positives:
The staff were great and the location was awesome. The cleanliness was average I would expect for any hotel. They do have indoor pool& hot tub
The negatives:
The parking situation is sub-par for a hotel of that size, but it's location could definitely part of that issue.
The building itself, whoever did the retrofit I would guess at least 10yrs ago, should've thought ahead because just certain features are very dated and the carpet is way overdue for an overhaul.
Overall, was this a $240/night experience? ABSOLUTELY NOT. We stayed here and paid a little more for a hot tub and it had good reviews. Unbeknownst to us there was some kind of BS cheerleading group with many small children hoarding the hot tub the entire day and running up and down the halls. When we complained, the front desk was very nice but claimed that they don't enforce their own rules posted on the wall and the children will not be contained once their negligent parents check in. So a young child getting injured on their property because they dont want to enforce rules is beneath them. Had it not been for the children being allowed to run a schmuck, I wouldn't have as many gripes. At least with a Marriott I know what I'm getting for $240 at all locations. The marketing of Drury Inn is a little deceptive. For $240/night, I would expect the dinner option to be a little classier that meatballs& mashed potatoes (not that there's anything wrong with that, but I can make that at home for cheap)."
