This hotel is more like a resort. The rooms are the biggest in size across all 5 star hotels & resorts I have stayed at. At this price, this place is the best. For the 1st time I stayed in a hotel room with a private heated swimming pool. Awesome experience....!!! The service is also very fast & excellent food. This room had the best & the most effective airconditioning I have ever seen having stayed across several 5star properties in India. Overall experience was excellent.

This is a lovely small hotel but the quality and service is of a 5 star hotel. The room is spacious with excellent facilities and a very clean bathroom. The breakfast was nice and included Indian and basic western. We had a driver so I'm not sure on the actual location in terms of its convenience. Highly recommend this hotel!

The room was spacious and everything was bright and clean. The safe was large enough for a 15" laptop and the bed was comfy. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, they moved us to a new room as our aircon wasn't working properly. We used the hotel driver for two days out and he was fantastic, making sure we saw the sights of Delhi and helped us build our itinerary as we went, as we only had a rough idea of places to go to. I stayed at the Meriton Hotel from 22nd to 24th September for a work trip, and my experience was a mix of positives and negatives. The biggest issue I faced happened right after check-in. The Wi-Fi was completely down for many hours, which was incredibly frustrating as I needed to work from my room. Because of this technical issue, I wasn't able to get any work done until 9 PM. Clean room, excellent staff and good food

stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in march.it is 5 star with great location and welcoming staff.very central location and near Nehru Metro station .nearby shops and in the mall food court. we were in executive room on the fifth floor which allowed us free breakfast,free wi fi in the room,free news paper and all day beverges and soft drink with sandwiches and cakes etc also from 18.30-20.30 free alchoholic drinks and hot nibbles.a great experiance

The rooms are all delightful here; comfortable beds,exceptionally clean bathrooms (yes I confess I was worried about this in the UK as you get many depressing reports). Breakfast was good with plentiful tea, toast etc and all the staff are warm and friendly. Evening meals can be freshly cooked if ordered in advance and the one I ate was fab and such good value. I will not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend Colonel's Retreat to everyone.

We booked the Manor Room through Expedia and did have a little trouble initially. The photos of the rooms on the site are not the same as at the hotel. Apparently not all Manor Rooms have the bathtub as advertised on Expedia . I am a regular visitor of this hotel as this is in the heart of New Delhi and cool place. This hotel is located nearby to big food joints, cinema halls markets and hospitals.
