"This place needs maintenance, and new management. Only got one bath towel, no washcloths, half the outlets don’t hold a plug as they’re so worn out. Had to charge the phone away from the bed. Room safe didn’t work. One cabinet door only closed partway. Elevator worked only half of the time (we were on 3rd floor), had to use emergency stairs to lug up luggage when we arrived - was so ridiculous it was almost funny. Those stairs were only about 3 1/2 feet wide. Fortunately, the bellhop carried our heaviest piece. Waited 40 minutes before being served breakfast. No one asked what we wanted for breakfast, but just brought the free continental breakfast (was ok - continental). We were told checkout time was noon when we checked in. They said you must ask for a later check out in the morning. They told us in the morning that checkout time was 11, but that they would extend it to noon. No apologies for the error, no customer service skills at all from the front desk manager. Called front desk to order our car back from valet when getting ready to check out at noon and no one answered. Finally just went downstairs and sat in lobby and waited for car for 25 minutes. Elevator worked that day. Shower was awesome. Location was awesome. AC was great. Bed was good. Hair dryer was best I’ve ever used in a hotel. Valet service for car was great as parking in South Beach is horrible. "
