"Avid is conveniently located near the airport and Miami cruise port. Their airport shuttle driver was timely and friendly. The concierge staff members need customer service training. The complimentary breakfast was filling and satisfying. The reception area conveniently had tables for family dining and ample chairs for lounging. Loved the modern look as well. "Room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful breakfast was great, a lot of parking. The only complaints would be that the elevator was out of service half the time and the washing machine asks that you insert $3 of quarters for wash AND $3 to dry. Other than that, it was great."

"The property was in a nice location but I had problems with the cleanliness. There was hair from past guests and I had to request a cleaning of the bathroom (especially the shower) when I arrived. I didn’t use any amenities but the pool deck was nicely setup and could be viewed from the elevators. Upon check out, I found out that I was charged $20 a day for parking. I wish that was explained at check in so I wouldn’t have been so surprised when I got my bill."
