Fun in the Sun

The location was the best part about this stay! The proximity to the lake made it easy with 5 kids to walk back and forth on our 3-day stay. Our only disappointment was how ill-equipped this unit was. I’ve stayed many times at this location (various units) and this was by far the least supplied. It barely had any kitchen supplies to use. We made due and had many trips to CVS. Luckily our unit was on the backside of the property, so we could walk back and forth (many times).

I love this property, just not the unit I stayed in. The property is great with multiple pools and spas, right on the beach with chairs and a dock, and walking distance to lots of stuff including the marina.

Served our families needs and expectations perfectly. No AC was a concern going into it for us TX folks (AC is a must in TX!!) but opening balcony door with a fan sucking in the 55 degree night air was perfect to really cool down the upper levels. This is our second stay at this property and we’d gladly come back. Thank you!

We checked in 4 hrs after the check in time, the linens and pillows were in piles on the floor in every bedroom. The downstairs toilet was broken and would not flush, We called several times for the beds to be made and have the toilet fixed and was told initially someone would come by. After a few hours, we called back and they said nobody was available to help us out. We ended up sleeping on beach towels. The next day, maintenance came to fix the toilet in the afternoon, we showed him the bed situation and he said he would have someone take care of it. After a couple of hours 2 people came by to take care of the beds. Just when we thought we could relax, on July 4th, we took the car out but when we came back, we were told we cannot park on the property as there wasn't any parking left because no residents without parking passes were parked there. I explained we were staying there, they said that it wasn't their problem. I parked across the street at Whole Foods and risked being towed and walked back to our property. In the meantime we continued to scope out for open spots and after a few hours saw an open spot and went out save it while another person ran to Whole Foods to get the car. While waiting, we were told we cannot save spots and he needed to give the spot to someone that was waiting for an hour. We explained we were waiting for hours for a spot. The person he was saving the parking for drove around and stated they found a spot so he reluctantly let us park there.

The property was ok while expensive . While a house for 10 , we could only seat 8 at the dinner table . The parking , 2 cars does not have assigned number so a nightmare to find parking which for the price of the rental should not be . The house is well equipped with comfortable beds and nice deco. The kitchen was ok but for a 4 days stays with 10 people a sample bags for dishwasher was not sufficient - some salt and pepper at the house would be a plus . The wine glasses were dirty . Tte deck is tiny for such a large home . The pool were ok with nice temp water . No view of tte Lake from this unit. It was good to have one of the master room on a different floor .

Older resort but kept up. No fan in bedroom. Not enough blankets. Stove top burner was broken. Was told there would be coffee in the morning at 8:30 am (why not earlier?). In morning no coffee. Asked and was told no coffee on Mondays or Tuesdays. WTH? Wednesday morning no coffee when we left at 8:50 am. Asked why and was told the guy was working on it. Other than that, it was a good location, quiet, and with the full kitchen, (mini fridge) was perfect for us.

La casa estaba muy linda, limpia , la propiedad hermosa, lo único que el Baño estaba abajo al lado de la habitación principal y la habitación de arriba no tenía baño, había que bajar al baño, faltaría un baño arriba, ya que la cocina y habitación están arriba. Pero excelente ubicación , cerca del lago, caminando llegas perfecto, solo dos cuadras. Muy limpio todo. Tenía bbq enfrente del lago eso es excelente.Otra cosa que recommendaria ponerle un password para la puerta mas facil, el codigo era de 12 numeros, muy difícil para entrar, y recordar ese password , si tr quedas sin batería en el teléfono te quedas afuera . Recomendaria poner contraseña mas facil. Fueron unas hermosas vacaciones en Familia, y volveria.

Room was stinking. Toilet was broken all 3 days and they asked us to carry our plungers. Hotel is owned by vacasa rentals. Every day we had to call them to come and fix the toilet.

Condo was very clean and stocked with everything you needed for a couple days stay. Parking was a little confusing but check in attendant was very clear and helpful.

I was really disappointed in this property. I was there with my kids and the SmartTV doesn't connect to the internet which really sucked. The WiFi is spotty at best. That really limited the things we could do in our downtime. Communication with hotel staff and property owner and Vacasa was not serious or considerate of these conditions. Will not rent from Vacasa or stay here again.
