"Very basic but even for the price the rooms were dusty. Cobwebs hanging off the walls. We had two nights due to a local wedding. Asked to move rooms because the mattress was terrible. Was told all the mattresses are the same and getting upgraded in the winter. Changed rooms, slightly better mattress. Even for a cheap night I'd expect no cobwebs / dust and a decent mattress. Won't go again."

"This is a so so hotel. It’s aging and showing it. The rooms are a little bit pokey and very very basic. The staff are great and friendly, so the stay was okay, but I wouldn’t choose to stay there again. Room accessibility is bad as the bulk of the rooms are a long way from reception and a fair amount are up flights of stairs with no lift access. For the price point you can do a lot lot better. Basic and boring."

"Had a 4 night stay at the hotel. Location is excellent although I didn't know the entrance was around the back. The revolving doors are not useful if you have luggage. Reception staff were good and my high floor request was accommodated. That said one of the lifts was out of order and this queues and wait times were excessive. The room faced the city but on floor 17 had an amazing view. The room however was dated. The dressing table showed signs of wear and the decor was old. The bathroom had a...

"The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was huge and tasty. It’s centrally located for walking the city & near restaurants. The only thing to fix is the street which is blocked for construction, so you can only use one end of the street to get there."
