"If an IKEA opened a beach motel it would look like the Surfside! Room was bare, cool and clean. The entire place (rooms and common areas) have the same flooring that was sticky no matter where you walk. If they un-sticky the floors this place is a cute little 10/10. "They put me in a smoking room when I asked for non smoking room… they did change me to a non-smoking room eventually. Also, the power went out 30 minutes after I arrived at 6:30 PM and never came back on all night and I I departed the next morning at 7 AM. Lastly, there was a property wide fire alarm malfunction at 3:30 in the morning and everyone had to get up and leave their rooms and stand in the parking lot during a downpour in the rain. I am requesting a full refund for this terrible night...

"The Marriott is such a pretty little hotel out of the way in a nice location in Trumbull, CT. The rooms are very clean with comfy beds. The hotel itself is so nice with many comfy seating areas everywhere, gorgeous massive fireplace in lobby and a nice restaurant called Parallel Post, which has a yummy, albeit small menu.
