"Very helpful and courteous staff.
The small room refrigerator didn't feel cold at first. The young woman at the front desk offered to refrigerate anything needing to be kept cold, in the hotel refrigerator, and she did so, at my request.
She said that other customers had expressed a similar concern about the refrigerator, but she didn't know why the refrigerators didn't seem to work properly.
However, the refrigerator got cold, at least, within a few hours. It seemed to be activated by motion or by opening its door. There is no temperature adjustment button on the refrigerator, at all, which makes it seem like there's no way to set it to get colder. It's counterintuitive that the unit just gets cold on its own, without any setting adjustment. The front desk young woman was apologetic, but she was apparently unaware that's how the small refrigerators work, in each of the rooms. It would have been helpful if staff are trained and informed about that.
In any case, the refrigerator did get cold within a few hours. But there is no little freezer unit, at all, so I had the front desk store my ice packs for my cooler, in the hotel staff freezer, and they had no problem doing that. So fortunately, it all worked out.
Both elevators went down sometime on Sat. 9/26, and only one was fixed in a timely way. The elevator nearest to my room, 233, was still broken when I checked out on Mon. 9/28.
Otherwise facilities were good. They even had bacon at breakfast on Monday morning."
