"I loved the decor. Cute and neat. I liked how they had makeup remover packets. But the towel that had them tucked in had someone’s hair in it. Not mine. I was the first to shower and notice little hairs on the restroom floor and the shower. Again not mine. The heater didn’t work and when I texted about this no one responded. I paid for a late check out at 1pm went about our day came back before 1 and the room code was changed. Although I did like the idea of self check in and out I did not like...

"Pet friendly but charge $50 per night, which seems silly. Older cottages, common in Carmel, but some of the furniture in the rooms need updating- stains on rugs, tears on fabrics. Tree sap on outdoor chairs. Biggest issue is that in a room for 4 people - 2 get a converted leather couch that flattens to a full, not a queen but a full-size. And then there's nowhere to put your suitcases. Staff only offered a room upgrade for second night, but we were settled and unpacked and leaving the next day...
