"Nice eclectic hotel in Hyde Park. Lots of meter regulated street parking available after 7pm. Rooms are nice and cozy, however paper thin walls. Carpet in the lobby and rooms need steam cleaning. Housekeeping personnel were very nice. Messler/ Food and drinks from Messler were very tasty and the staff was nice."

"As a little motel place this one was above and beyond. The only only only thing that was not good was the water leaking though our bathroom ceiling. Like literally sitting on the toilet water falling out the ceiling. But the breakfast was fantastic. Having a shuttle to the airport above and beyond!!!"

"It was one of the cleanest and most attractive hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. The price was reasonable at $199 (1 night), and it was close to Chicago Midway Airport (about 12 minutes with traffic). The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was the best and most elegant I've seen at any hotel that offers breakfast (even better than the à la carte breakfast). The building was undergoing maintenance with some renovations in progress, but it was still clean, well-lit, and had excellent rooms. The staff was well-dressed and conducted themselves properly. The only "bad" thing I have to say about this hotel is that the iron didn't work. Air conditioning works properly, had a big TV in room."

"Staff was pleasant to me and my service animal. The toiled overflowed as I was about to checkout and towels were stained. I let manager know. Other than that, no issues."
