"Nice room"

"My experience at the Wade Hotel was very disappointing. First, I didn’t receive the room I originally requested. When I was moved to another room, it turned out to be even worse, so I had to return to the first one. The cleanliness was a major issue, the rooms were dirty and not well-maintained. To make things worse, there was no hot water for over a day. There was also no internet throughout my stay, and cellular service upstairs was extremely poor, especially with Verizon, making it difficult to make calls or stay connected. Additionally, basic amenities were missing. There was no complimentary water, and essentials like soap and shampoo were not provided, which is unacceptable for a hotel. Overall, it was a very bad experience, and I would not recommend staying here."

"Overall, the hotel was clean, and the lounge was spacious, well-organized, and inviting. The property is a bit older, but not in a negative way—it simply has that classic feel. Our room was on the 5th floor, and the area was quiet, which made our stay very comfortable. The location is also excellent. Right outside the hotel, there is easy access to the train going to the airport, and several tourist attractions are only a few minutes away on foot. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and if my family and I visit again, I would gladly stay here again."

"Cons: The room was cleanish, the bathroom shower looked crazy. There was only half a covering so water naturally flows to the floor leaving visible water damage and mildew. The room had a nice size but a terrible view we just faced another hotel. The worst thing was that even from a high floor the 24hr street noise particularly ambulances and sirens was crazy loud. Pros: Common areas are nice and there was a Starbucks on property, very convenient. The location to attractions and shopping was great everything was a short walk or Uber ride away."

"I got woken up at 10 pm with strange noises all night coming from my room somewhere. Knocking, banging, scratching. I turned on the light and the noises would stop. Couldn’t sleep well. Felt like I was in a haunted room "

"Loved the property, the location and extra comfy beds. HATE that I'm still waiting for my $75 room deposit for one night's stay to be refunded. 3-5 days to review the room and refund should suffice. "

"From beginning to end, our stay at L7 Chicago was absolutely top-notch. We were in Chicago for a special mother-daughter trip celebrating my daughter’s senior year, and this was our first time staying at this property — it exceeded every expectation. We were graciously upgraded to a spectacular corner room on the top floor with breathtaking views of the city and the Chicago River. Those window sill seats quickly became our favorite spot to sit, reflect, and take it all in — truly unforgettable. Shortly after we arrived, the hotel surprised my daughter with a delicious cupcake and a handwritten note with well-wishes, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. Moments like that made the experience feel incredibly special. The entire staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the “blond bombshell” for his impeccable service — he truly stood out and made a lasting impression. We also ordered room service one day, and it was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and delivered promptly. The location was perfect — we were just a short, easy walk to the Chicago Riverwalk and incredibly close to the CIBC Theatre, which made getting to Hamilton that evening seamless and stress-free. This stay created memories we’ll always cherish. I would absolutely return and highly recommend L7 Chicago to anyone looking for a modern, elevated, and thoughtfully curated experience in the city."

"Hotel is conveniently located, clean and rooms were spacious. Evening reception and breakfast selections are fantastic. The only downside was the pool area is small with limited seating but the kiddos still enjoyed. Staff was very professional and helpful. Would stay again. "
