"The staff at this hotel was TOP NOTCH. Each and every staff member we interacted with over the course of our trip was excellent! Breakfast was okay. It rotated hot items each day, so that was a huge plus. The building itself is quite dated, and our room reeked of old pipe tobacco & after-shave. Like it punched you in the face as soon as you opened the door. No matter what I tried, nothing took the smell out. Our bed was very comfy, although I did overhear another guest complaining to the Front...

"Realized on the drive to the hotel that it might not be in a safe area. Pulling into the lot some guy is walking around with no shirt on smoking, a group of folks are sitting around in the parking lot in lawn chairs, others are hanging out in their cars... didn't feel comfortable leaving my fully packed car. Ended up driving an hour to a different hotel."
