"I had a fabulous time here. Did some solo travel and I got a free room upgrade in the corner, lots of natural light and lots of floor space! However the only thing I would say is not too good is the rooftop pool/ bar there were a lot of children playing and splashing about in the pool late night. Sort of killed the vibe. Other than that it was great!!"

"Good value for money overall, especially given the affordable price. The rooms were fine—nothing particularly special, but comfortable enough. The main downside was the noise: the walls are quite thin, and I could hear random noises and sounds of windows and doors, which was annoying. The AC also only seemed to have one setting and got very cold, while there weren’t any blankets provided, so that was a bit uncomfortable. The hotel is right next to a mosque, so you will hear the call to prayer five times a day, which is worth knowing if you’re a light sleeper. On the plus side, the location is very convenient in a touristy area, with plenty of restaurants, shops, and things to do right outside. The pool is decent, though nothing particularly special, and there isn’t really much of a social scene. Overall, though, it’s an affordable, convenient hotel and a decent choice for the price."

"We absolutely love staying at the Marriott — it’s without a doubt our favourite hotel! ❤️ The all-inclusive package is fantastic and makes the whole experience so easy and enjoyable. There’s so much to choose from, and the food across the resort is consistently delicious. The Beach Grill, La Cala, Chang Thai and Merchant Kitchen are all fantastic, with plenty of variety to suit everyone. The pickleball court and pools are also great — everything is so well maintained, and there’s always something fun to do. The swim-up bar is brilliant, and the Rum Shack is exceptional. A special mention to Nina at the Rum Shack, who is a master at creating cocktails, she’s absolutely delightful and always makes you feel so welcome! 🍹 The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet, and the beach, reef and beautifully maintained grounds are simply fantastic. But honestly, the best thing about this resort is the staff. Especially All the people in the beach grill and the pool staff! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and genuinely happy to help. They go above and beyond to make sure you have the best possible stay, and that’s what keeps bringing us back. We absolutely love this place and can’t wait to return next year ❤️🌴"

"Staying at Tanah Gajah in Ubud was an absolute highlight of our time in Bali. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were blown away by the level of care and hospitality. The staff here are truly extraordinary. Every single team member made us feel genuinely welcomed, greeting us by name every day and anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. Whether we needed recommendations, help with logistics, or just a quick chat about our plans, everyone was incredibly warm, attentive, and super helpful.
