"Everyone was friendly. The property was quiet and clean. Breakfast was basic, but still definitely a perk. Close to many stores and interstate access. "

"Several staff members were unengaging and fairly curt. The car valet guys were nice but having to valet the car every time we used it was inconvenient and expensive. During our 4 night stay, the room was only serviced the third morning at my request because I had spilled coffee on the sheet the first night and they didn't service our room at all the next day. They only did it the second morning because I requested it. The first night I also found a long dark hair on one of the hand towels and placed it on the floor to be replaced but no one came the next day. Our coffee pods and sugar in the room were never replaced and the trash wasn't emptied, even on the one day we had service. The Kelly hotel is attractive but we're not likely to stay again, which is a shame since our son and DIL live in Birmingham and we visit often."

"This was a beautiful hotel and all I f the amenities were wonderful. My only complaint was the guest next to my room had dogs (barking constantly, even late into the night)."

"The construction project in process made things complicated. Most importantly, there was no public bathroom. Tough to come in after a long drive and not be able to go to the restroom. Some areas were a bit dirty, but that was probably due to the construction. "

"Room was not clean upon checking in. There was hair in the shower and on the sheets. Tv remote didn’t work, had to plug in the microwave. The highlight of staying at this hotel was leaving."

"Bug in shower. Dirty baseboards. Bed is hard as a rock. No conditioner in shower. Only one washcloth for 3 people. Broken coffee maker. All remedies in about 15 minutes but aggravating none the less. Landline phone did not work so that is a safety issue in a hotel. Would not stay here again. "
