"We had an amazing time,the surroundings are just incredible,so beautiful and peaceful.My family really enjoyed the barn and we played board games,lit a fire which was fabulous.The option to BBQ also.We had such fun.Our huts were just gorgeous,everything was spotlessly clean,the bed was so comfortable and the bedding was to a very high standard.We took a stroll through the meadow and had a turn in the paddle boat on the the water on the grounds,so much fun.The hosts really take great care of this...

"The off street parking was excellent! Location was good to be able to walk to the castle and restaurants. The room itself was a good size, comfortable and clean and the shower great! However we had no wifi in our room and had to sit in the reception to see our emails which made planning ahead for our holiday tricky. Our room was near a function room and it was noisy until midnight. The staff at the reception were nice. Good place to stay to discover Kilkenny."

"As there isn’t on-site parking, we worried about where to put the car. No problem at all - directly across the small road and next to the hotel are parking places, and the hotel validates the parking (it is free to you, the guest). The room we stayed in was a good size, had a great bathroom and shower, and a comfortable bed. "Wow what a great hotel. From the minute we checked in to the moment we left. The staff could not do enough for us. So friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were great. Large and recently refurbed the food was great. We loved our stay there. When we return to Ireland we would not stay anywhere else"

"Rough rural property. Shower didn’t work and bathtub slippery and risky for seniors. Beds clean and comfortable and terrace with a lovely view of cow pasture, lots of swallows and birdsong. So — mixed. The Rising Sun restaurant connected was very good and inexpensive."

"A great spot to stay just outside Kilkenny. The attached restaurant had a fun vibe and great food. The bed was incredibly comfortable — after two weeks of hotel hopping around Ireland, this was our best sleep. Staff were easygoing and friendly to chat with. Breakfast was more limited than other stays, but still met our needs. Overall, a lovely and relaxing stay."
